Värisilmä Espoo Muurala was born when Eini Riski, daughter of shopkeeper Veijo Pelkonen, founded the new company: Espoon Maali ja Tapetti Oy in 2016. Earlier the company was: Töölön Tapetti ja Väri Oy, but when Veijon retired, Eini decided to continue her father's work in a new company. After the generation change, Värisilmä Espoo Muurala have continued to serve it's customers service with the same ambition and professionalism as the family company did for decades.

Värisilmä Espoo Muurala belongs to a nationwide chain of Värisilmä (ColorEye). It consists of 80 shopkeepers in all areas of Finland.
